Itinerary
Albufeira — Praia da Marinha — (Praia de Benagil) — Ponta da Piedade — Lagos — Sagres — Cabo São Vicente
We are heading to one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, Praia da Marinha.
We enjoy the views and take beautiful photographs.
Optionally, we can also visit Benagil Beach, and if the weather permits, go on a sea journey through caves and grottoes. The trip includes a visit to the famous Benagil Cave.
Next, we visit Ponta da Piedade, a cape that is a natural, scenic, and geological heritage place of Portugal. We admire the views and take photographs.
In the city of Lagos, we explore the ancient port where the history of maritime expeditions by Prince Henry the Navigator began.
We take a walking tour of the city.
Lunch and a coastal boat trip are optional.
We continue to Sagres/Cape St. Vincent.
This historical place is associated with Prince Henry the Navigator and Portuguese maritime discoveries.
We visit the Edge of the World.
Meeting and Duration
Meeting location: I will pick you up from your acommodation/arrival point in the Albufeira area. Should you wish to be collected from somewhere outside of the Albufeira area transfer costs may be negociated.
End location: I will return you to your hotel/acommodation or departure point following your tour.Should you wish to be dropped off elsewhere at a local restaurant for example I will be happy to acommodate you and recommend good local restaurants/bars etc...
